When i try and delet some files, I get a message that the file cannot be deleted. "Make sure disk is not full or write protected and that file is not currently in use," From what I can tell none of these apply. What is wrong??

Microsoft Knowledge base Article 298345 describes the problem. Their solution is the have administrator give permissions. I am the administrator but cannot seem to figure out how to give permissions.

Take Ownership of the folder containing the files. That usually seems to work.

If that fails, you can boot to the recovery console and delete from the command line there. If needed you can reset the attrib values first.
