    Hello all,

I've been getting alot of blue screens lately, re-installing drivers and replacing hardware to try to fix the problem. Well, things got worse... I cannot boot into XP anymore. After the post screen, I immediately get a message stating:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair. "

It seems the repair setup just starts a pseudo DOS session... I don't know how to repair the System file. I found a System file on the CD in I386/SYSTEM32 but it is definitely smaller then the one on my hard drive. Can anyone give me some direction here, or am I FUBAR?

    Thanks for any help.
