I just purchased a new computer and now have Windows XP.
I gave my used one to my son and just removed my files. I
was worried about removing and restoring Win98 for him so it's
still there. Basically is there more I need to do other than logging
off and turning it over to him? Any tips will be appreciated. (He
wants to use 98 for now)

One or two other things you might consider -

Remove your Internet connection(s), email accounts, delete all emails, delete all Favourites in IE and so on and set up fresh for your son.

Go to IE > Tools > Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete and Clear Forms and Passwords.

On the General tab Clear History and Temporary Internet Files.

There's probably more, but nothing specific comes to mind at the moment.
