harddisk infected mbr memory virus on hard disk

    hi when i install avg it detected mbr(virus in partition table) virus during bootup so i just skip and start windows but virus is still in c drive mbr parition table and can be repair i delete i tried house call antiviurs it detect but can't be delet it says they files in currently in use then i tried to clean from rescue disk of avg by bootup with floppy and avg rescue disk still not solved so how can i repair mbr memory virus on c plzzzzzzzzz

    If you are running Win9x, Restart in Dos Mode and do this command three times [it will appear to do nothing if done correctly];
    fdisk /mbr <press enter>

    nothing happened

    virus infected

    i'm using windows 98 and virus name is somthing like that wyx windows is working but the virus alays detect during bootup

    You got this virus from a floppy I would assume all the floppies that you have are infected you need to go to Bootdisk's and create a new bootdisk by doubleclicking the downloaded file with a floppy in the drive then write protect it by sliding the tab so you can see through both holes do this on any computer except the infected one or any other computer any of your floppies have been into boot with new floppy and do my previously suggested commands
