Problem with 'remove' re email address book

I am using Netscape 7.1 and running Windows 98 Second Edition.

The first time I downloaded the Netscape 7.1 browser, I had this same problem plus the 'help' section seemed to have been lost along the way during the download.

Thanks to a kind gentleman on this site, I've reloaded the necessary areas of the browser and now have the 'help' section, thankfully.

The one remaining problem is that it's virtually impossible to delete any email addresses because the little button 'remove' simply won't 'light up'. (The 'to' and 'pps' work great).

I've found a temporary solution by simply adding 'zzz' to any I'd like to delete - and they have moved down to the bottom of the address and are at least 'out of the way'.

If anyone could tell me how to get the little 'remove' button working, I'd truly appreciate the help.

Hi Mara,

To delete addresses:

Click on: Window tab
Select: Address Book
Highlight the Address you wish to delete
Click on the "Delete" button

You can also access the Address Book by clicking on the small Address Book icon in the lower left tray. It is the last icon on the right. This will give you the same window as the above.

CTRL+5 will also get you there.
