CD-RW is in use all the time

    My CD-RW Drive says it is being used by another program whenever I try to use it even thought I have just put a blank disk in!

    I have rebooted, uninstall/reinstalled drivers, disabled and rebooted and tryed using a burning tool (Nero)!

    Any ideas as I need to make some copys of picture CD's ASAP for my family abroad!

    What's telling you its in use?

    Disabled what exactly? The startups in msconfig?

    If you havn't done so, that's what I would do, and then re-enable them one at a time.
