I've got a user with an NT4.0 SP5 workstation that is running Office 2000. Lately, whenever she runs Word, at some point she will eventually get a Dr. Watson error along the following lines:

    Winword.exe access violation 0XE000005 error.

I've tried doing a Repair, and have even uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000 on her machine. I'm hoping to avoid a rebuild, but this seems more and more likely.

Anyone have any ideas before I have to rebuild this machine?

If you'll turnoff DrWatson, you'll get a regular windows error that is much easier to research on M$ Knowledge base.
