    Hi,

I would like to have NS 7.1 prompt to disconnect, like it used to with NS 4.8, when I exit. All settings are, I believe, correct. IE6 gives me a prompt, but not NS.

    My registry setting:
[ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Netscape\Netscape Navigator\Automation Shutdown ] has NNPE.SHUTDOWN.1 listed like it should be. However, I was wondering if, since I have WinXP Pro, there should be a data value?

Or, if anyone knows of a utility that I can use to do this, I'd like to be pointed in that direction.

    Or, any suggestions.

    Thanks.
    Chris

    Welcome to the Forum, jpChris!

    Hi Chris,

This is a third party disconnect program that I have seen recommended on the Netscape Newsgroups, but I have no personal experience with the program:
    HangUp

As to the Registry Value for Communicator's Autoclose, I'm not that familiar with Windows XP. Perhaps someone who runs XP can give you that information. There is no Value entered in that Key in Windows 98SE.

    Ramona :D

    Hi Ramona,

I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond to your post and say, "THANK YOU!!! "

The program works beyond my wildest expectations!!!:D

I've been trying to get ahold of the author to find out if I could post his http, but no luck yet. Oh, well.

    Thanks again, Ramona.

    Sincerely,
    Chris
