volume; hidden files

    New member here. And I have two questions. (1) The changes I make to my volume settings periodically flip back to default--which is much too loud. I can't connect this happening to any other event on the computer. (2) Why are some of my documents also showing up as hidden files?

    Your volume settings can be changed by other programs, i've seen this happening, the trick is to discovere wich programs r doing this....

    The fact that your documents r showing as hidden files i have no idea, does this happen with all your documents (from various programs), have u tried to remove the hidden attribut?

    In response to your mail, i have no iddea why your files r appering as hidden files, the maine reason a files is set has hidden is for security (if u don't want other people to see the file, etc...)...
