I seem to have picked a strange entry in my Inbox (I`m using 7.1 by the way). No name, no subject just a date 12.31.69. I`ve tried deleting it and it comes back every time I request New Mail. Anyone have a solution?

    Hi Lochinvar,

The fix is an easy one:

    Close Netscape
Open Windows Explorer and Navigate to your Mail Account Folder:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\*.slt\Mail\mailaccount

Delete all files with an MSF extension. Do NOT delete the folders WITHOUT the MSF extension. These folders contain your Mail...

Open Netscape, and compact your Mail folders: File | Compact Folders

    This should fix your problem.

Ramona! What can I say except thank you! Not only did I get rid of the irritant I was able to clean up all my files at the same time.

It seems that when I imported files from Outlook they somehow got duplicated so I was carrying extra baggage I didn`t need.

I am one happy camper! :D

    Lochinvar,

That's my favorite kind of feedback!
