OK here is the deal. My daughter Stevie is at Fort Hood TX. By the way her husband is in Iraq with a brand new 5-week-old baby at home, and can’t get her printer to work. She is trying to print pictures of the baby and send them to her husband over seas. She has a HP Apollo inkjet P2200 printer that is a low-end printer but has always worked fine for what she wants to do. Some how the drivers have become corrupt and I walked her through downloading and reinstalling the new drivers. She can’t find the original installation disk. It comes as a zipped exe file but when she tries to run it she is prompted that the program is already installed on the computer. She has uninstalled the software and even deleted any associations with the printer. We haven’t been able to figure out how to get the software to install and H.P.’s web site is no help what so ever. If anyone has any ideas on how to completely remove the printer or a good driver it would be a great help. Win 98 se. I hope this is enough information and is clearer that mud. Thanks in advance, Steve.
