When you go to Start>Search>For Files or Folders and type you search terms or whatever in the box, it displays a dropdown box of previously entered words. How do I erase this list? (I have tried pressing "˜delete’ when the word is highlighted and/or the cursor is over the word but it hasn’t worked)

Hi kami Welcome to Windows BBS

I think what you want is DelSearchMRU found at:>
    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/download.htm

I use DelExplorerMRU which does most of what the others cover,
and yes on a windows ME PC
