emails get deleted

    hi all, using win98 256 ram 40 gb hdd etcc and using norton anti virus and have sat broadband and a strange things has just started to happen when I go to check for mail or even when it comes in automatically I have checked all settings and all seems well the emails get sent to deleted items instead of the inbox
    just wondered if anyoneelse had experienced this?? wondering if its to do with norton? Regards Rodger......

    rodger--If you use Outlook Express, have you checked Tools|Message Rules and perhaps Blocked Sender list?
    You might also run your AntiVirus and spyware detection programs.
    Did you install new software (including Windows Update patches) just prior to this happening?

    sorry its outlook express and I have since thought about this and
    I had recently tested some spam blocking software which I didn't find very user friendly so I removed it but as always can happen things are never quite the same but I have gone into the tools message rule etc and unchecked some of the changed settings
    that had been made by this software...thanks again guys what a great site this is as I have said many times!! but it very valuble
    as it covers all levels of knowledge.......Regards Rodger
