    Hi, first post :)

My Q is, I thought OutLook Express deletes all your emails from your inbox and downloads them to your PC?

How do you set up an OE account? How to setup Multiple OE accounts??
Then how to switch betweeen accounts.. lets say between hotmail accounting and my university account..

    thanks,

    ^___^

Hi Corrupted.......... Welcome to the Board :)
    Yes - Tools > Options > Read - check 'Automatically download .....'
    Tools > Accounts > Add
    Tools > Accounts > Add
OE will check all accounts - if the ISP's are different a dialogue box will appear asking 'Try to connect via this connection' or 'Hang up and dial ISP 2' - or words to that effect.

    CorruptedSanity--
The deletion part certainly is not default behavior, and I do not believe it can be done automatically. (Of course it can be done manually.) And those emails are, indeed, all on your PC (I suspect you mean hard drive) in the Inbox.dbx folder. That is where you are reading them from. Have a look in OE Tools|Options|various tabs for the setting over which you have control. I see one in Send tab that says you can opt not to save Sent messages. And there is a setting to automatically delete Deleted Items messages on the Maintenance tab. But I do not see any setting for deleting Inbox messages.
Or did you mean delete from your email provider's server after download to your PC? That is a setting in OE Tools|Accounts|Properties|Advanced tab.

First you have to find an email account provider. ISP's usually offer email accounts. And there are others, some free, like Yahoo!
I presume you already have an ISP provider since you are posting here. They should help you set up an email account. Here are the basic instructions
    http://www.webzervice.com/manual/Tutorials/outlook.htm
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/enthusiast/Videos/email.asp
but some of the data to be entered must be provided by the email account provider. Setting up multiple accounts is explained in the second reference--assuming your email provider permits.
