When I check via the Add/Remove (Control Panel) function and I try to remove some entries , this is rejected with an error "Could not load the initialization file ", this because I did delete the files before the use of the Add/remove.
OK, BUT now, how do I remove these entries from the panel?:(
    Thanks in advance

The easiest way is to reinstall the programs so you can use the Add/Remove Programs feature to uinstall them. (If the files and folders you deleted are still in the Recycle Bin, you can restore them.)

The other method is to open the registry editor and go to

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

and remove any unwanted keys under "Uninstall. "

    Hello Emile!

That would require editing the registry. See this thread for instructions, precautions and suggestions.
