What is an acceptable temperature range for this CPU?

    WHY?
I'm using a GA-7DXR+ mb with award bios.
The bios has a variable to warn when the cpu reaches a certain temperature and I'm not sure which to set it at.

I usually set the warning temp for ANY processor to 60C and the shutdown temp to 65C. Unfortunately, I had not yet set these settings in the BIOS when I ran for 2 hours with the heatsink fan unplugged. I finally saw the temp at 69C and yanked the plug. CPU is still working fine though I might have taken some time off its life.

Keep in mind that the BIOS warning and shutdown settings will do nothing if your heatsink becomes detached from your cpu - the proc will fry "in an instant ".
