I have the administrator account and I created another account. I would like to delete it. I can't find the way to do it with the normal way in 'Accounts'.

    Please, how to do it?

    Thanx

I'm guessing on this, but I think XP wants to have an admin acct. What I did, was change the admin name to mine..... so in effect it's still there, but I am the only acct listed..... that make sense?
    Hope this helps.

I wouled NOT ever delete or change the Admin account name. This is your ONLY back door if you have major problems with your machine. The Admin account should be protected with a GOOD password and you then should have a another account with Admin permissions for your prime use. I have worked on to many machines with NO back door and the only work around is a Format and you lose ALL data.

    Dave,
That may be a good suggestion . yet another reason for partitioning IMHO. But you make a good point that I hadn't thought of.
