    Hi
My ISP decided to update their browser and I know it always happens that some setting must get changed without my knowledge. I'm having a bit of a problem remembering what settings I had for IE Browser. When I close IE I don't get the disconnect box like I used to, and I also don't get a dial up connection box when I open IE. I think my ISP has somehow changed those settings. Possible? I would like advice of the proper settings so that when I click on IE I get the connection box and when I close IE I get a disconnect box. Any help sure would be appreciated before I have to call SBC Yahoo which is always useless and they have me change settings and they are never right.
    Thanks for your help

By default a new install of IE is set to 'Never dial a connection' - why, I don't know.

Tools > Internet Options > Connection tab and tick 'Always dial my default connection'

That should give you the connection box when you open IE.
