Office 2000 Pro

    A brand new 1.5GHz P4 PC loaded with Win 2000 Pro will not run office 2000pro, as soon as any office component is launched the PC freezes completely and has to be power cycled.
    Office 97 runs ok on this PC.

    v odd - assume you have tried reinstalling Office? Also, assume you cannot get any Office component to install, so you don't have the option to run Detect & Repair from the Help menu.

    (I'm running Office XP with W2K Pro on a Pentium 4 1.5ghz with 256mb RAM - no problems at all)
