I saw rmbox "s post DOS-Delete. I wanted to ask him if his StartUp Log runs on Win XP.
I had it on Win 98 and used it almost everyday. I tried to move it from my old HD and also download it from his site, but it will not open. I tried to E-Mail him but I was sent to you. Joe R

PS: I saw a reference to Ramona's post # 2345 which I would like to read. How can I find it?
Looked in FAQ but nothing there.

If you take a look at his site you will see that the program is for 95/98.

Thanks for the reply. I did see his site. Since I got XP I have been able to use some of my other apps. I thought because this is a DOS I could not open it in XP.

There is no DOS in XP, although there is a DOS emulator.

Unfortunately you can't search for a thread number, but you can search for key words, usernames, e.g. Ramona ......... hit the FAQ button at the top of the page for more info.

A DOS emulator mimics DOS without any form of DOS being included in the OS. DOS-like Commands can be typed in the Start > Run box. For a C: prompt in a 'DOS' box type cmd.
