    Hi,
I've got this problem when I finished moving and plugged in the PC. I set up the basics for using the Net which means monitor, CPU, keyboard, broadband cables and mouse. Here the problem:
When I press the power ON button, the PC goes thru its motion of starting up. However, there's a continuous beeping sound from the time the PC starts till about the time it finishes loading Windows. The sound comes from the CPU itself and I don't know why it is doing this. The other thing is when I click on IE, Windows will open multiple IE windows even though I clicked on the IE icon only once. The same goes for Outlook Express.

Can some kind soul pls help me???

Moving a computer will sometimes loosen parts inside of it. Open the case, disconnect the incoming power and make sure all components are fully seated. Take care to keep yourself grounded - don't want to "zap" any parts with static electricity.
