When I right click on my computer..properties this pops up.. The application or DLL c:\Winnt\System32\SYDM.CPL is not a valid Windows Image please check this against your installation diskette..Anyone know what this means?I'm running XP and tried system restore, but it still pops up..Thanks

Looks like you may have a corrupted file - the correct file is sysdm.cpl and is the Control Panel Extension (*.cpl) which shows System Properties, i.e. My Computer right click > Properties.

Are you sure that this is not a typo?

I suggest you run the System File Checker - not sure if it corrects this type of file or not.

Start > Run > type in sfc /scannow - note the space - you may need your XP installation CD.
