I have a friend who is wondering if he can access his Yahoo (or other web-based) e-mail account through his Netscape 7.02 mail program. I've been unable to find any information on this. Thanks for any advice.

    Hi shotsi,

Yahoo doesn't work from within the Netscape Mail & Newsgroups interface.

    My recommendation would be: http://www.myrealbox.com/

I use it through the browser mail interface , although I just configured it today in order to just to test it, before giving you an answer. Also was waiting to hear from a friend who uses several Webmail accounts, and for his recommendations.

    Hi Ramona

Would be very interested in your experience using "myrealmailbox" via Netscape 7's email client. Must start accepting that Netscape IMAP email will eventually be discontinued. I'm alittle confused, is "myrealmailbox" set up as a POP3 or IMAP account? Would also be interested in choices your/our mutal friend (Mr.Profile?) has experience with.
    Thanks

    PS... Question
    Per Yahoo,
YahooPOPs has or has not been successful with N7/Moz email clients??

    Hi Dennis,

I'll be glad to keep you updated on the IMAP experience with myrealbox.. In fact I just accessed my Mail, and it came through loud and clear. Noted that the same Mail is also available via web interface. It is also availabe as a POP3 account

I will check with the "King of Profiles" or you can contact him re: Yahoo. Not sure about YahooPops, but I'm almost certain that I have seen that it is successful. Don't quote me on that, but I'll do some research on it if you would like to know...
The unsuccessful experience was with Yahoo.
