New HardDrive

Hi, ive just got myself a new hard drive as my old one had bad sectors and was giving me nothing but hassle with lock ups (yes its hardware not xp related)

Anyway, ive hooked it up, installed XP and at the moment trying to patch it.. but windows update is hella slow.

What i want to know is, both hdds have XP installed on them, i want to hook the dodgy one up along with my new one to basically drag and drop the 8gigs of media/music/files that i have.

But the only thing is, both hdds are marked as C:\ and both have XP install on them.

Will there be issues when the system boots up, and being able to move the files from the old to the new hdd?

Also will i beable to uninstall winxp from the old hdd on a NTFS system.
