    Hello everyone,

I have just done a clean install of Win2000 after giving up on why IIS had stopped working.

After reinstalling all my software, I now find that when I right click on a folder in Windows Explorer or My Computer, and then click properties, I get nothing at all. Same with drives in My Comp.

It works OK on individual files. I have installed TweakUI but can't see anything in there that might have caused it.

Have looked in the MS knowledge base with no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks very much in advance.

The TrueVector service could cause this. Do you have ZoneAlarm starting at boot up? Any Norton products installed?

If you select more than one folder, does the property sheet appear? Re-applied the SP?

Aha...Yes, I do have ZoneAlarm running on startup.

And yes, though I hadn't tried it before, if I select more than one folder, I do get some properties info, but not if I only select one folder.

But I used to have ZA going on previous windows install without any problems. Any idea what setting to tweak?

    Thanks for the reply.

(Later)...I have tried pausing the Ture Vector services and it doesn't resolve the problem.
