downloading from mirc how to protect compt from virus or hack attack

i m downloag games softwares,music videos but after that i got problem always of computer virus trojan and it's spreading on my second computer as well how to protect computer from others in mirc is there any firewall mirc or prtoactable software any idea to make computer secure i also using notron antivirus coroperate edition is it enough or i have to download firewall i used mcafee it seems very good software from others but it really **** computer like hang problem and making time during bootup or not booting again i have to reset that'a ll

setup now will terminate. this is problem during instalation
k and i want to ask that how we know that computer is hacking my pc or hijacking my speed is there any way to check computer which computer is trying to acess and u know i try to conect on dal net it shows that you computer is infect with the trojan what's this?,,,
