MS Excel - column operations

    Hi all, cannot find out how to do this.
    The value in each cell in column D is the corresponding row value in column C multiplied by 0.45.
    How to do this en bloc ie without individually setting up a formula for each individual cell in column D ?

    If I understand you correctly -

    Highlight the cells in Column D in which you want to include the formula - make sure that the first cell highlighted contains the formula and 'Fill Down'.

    That is exactly what I wanted !
    With Excel Help, I always get the feeling you have got to know what you are looking for before you search - I would never have
    stumbled across "Fill Down ".

    Or copy and paste or put cursor on bottom right corner of the top cell in row D until it becomes a fine cross and drag down as many cells as you want.
