Have recently did a virus scan using Panda Anti-virus and it found a file (zip) named counter[2].cab [verifyerbug.class]. I found where it is located but have been unable delete it. Have run ad-aware 2x and The Cleaner but neither one has picked this up.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this dang thing? Thanks in advance for help. Usin' win2k.

I think you have a false positive here, but no harm probably in deleting the file.

So in win2k if you live on a fat32 drive then boot up with a dos floppy and delete it.

Or most likely booting to safe mode will allow deletion.

Thank you for the quick response. But already tried that in safe mode w/c prompt, but was unable to find it. Will try just in sayfe mode and see where that takes me. Will let you know of outcome.

Managed to completely delete using the regular safe mode. Thanks for the help.
