I have NAV Corporate Edition 7.51

Cleaned everything out. Tried to reinstall NAV. This error message came up

    Error
25013.setup is unable to load the migration dll.

Any idea how to fix this. I never had this problem installing NAV

Could some one verify these instructions? I'v never gone into the registry.

Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the Windows Temp folder, and then delete all files and subfolders found.
Navigate to the NAV folder, and then delete it.
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type regedit to open the Registry Editor.
Navigate to the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\DLLUsage\VP6

    Delete the VP6 folder.
    Navigate to the registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk

    Delete the LANDesk folder.
    Close the Registry Editor.
    Install NAVCE.

NOTE: In some cases, it is necessary to delete the VirusProtect6 entry for the registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\INTEL\LANDesk

AV Software (and Norton in particular) can be a real bastard to remove. Try searching the registry (Edit-->Find) for each of the following: Norton, Symantec, NAV. Note that for each seach, you will have to go to the top of the Registry (My Computer in registry editor) before starting the search. Otherwise, it will simply start searching from where the previous one ended, and only search until the end of the registry.

I must say I'm impressed that a self-labelled "Beginner" has the courage to edit the registry.

First make sure you have no remaining startup entries left pertaining to Norton if so remove them and reboot.

Norton even knows they have a cruddy uninstaller so get their cleanup utility from here:

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nsw.nsf/docid/2001101612274407

Also get their Norton AV removal tool at:
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nsw.nsf/docid/2001101612274407

Run it for each version even tho you have a specific version.

After doing the above then do a disk search for norton*.* and remove all found, then search for syman*.* and remove all.

Then download RegSeeker to search the registry
    http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

In RegSeeker click "find in registry "

look for norton first and remove all
then for symantec and remove all

Reboot and Norton/Symantec will be GONE!
