    Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me with this problem.
I recently downloaded Netscape Navigator 7.1, now when I open an MPEG from a web page Netscape opens a new window before the file opens. This is more of a nuisance than a real problem, but I would like to know if there is a way to stop this action? Any help that you can give will be most appreciated.

    target?

This sounds like a wrong target-attribute for the link on the parent document and not a Netscape problem. target should be set "_self" or generally not beeing used.

I made targets to "_blank" too in early days, but this seems not to be a clean way because you'll get too much windows on your desktop and now many browsers have a better function: tabs, which can be created with every link if the user wants to (mouse wheel button at me).
