Missing items in System tools

I remember seeing the character map but now when I go to

start/programs/accessories/system tools/ nothing is there for the character map. Also I see the "Backup" is no longer there.



I haven't done anything to delete it.

 

Control panel-Add/Remove-Windows setup-Accesories.

Select what you want.

mflynn, went there. There is nothing in there about the map or backup. Any other suggestions?

 

Sorry I was going from memory, I now am so used to 2K and XP.

Had to boot up win98 and look.

Same place, but it is in System tools. Just check them if unchecked! If they are already checked but not on your Accesories-System tools menu then uncheck them here. Then reboot and go back and recheck them.
