no video with windows media player 9

    When viewing a website with windows media player 8, I saw video and audio, but when I upgraded to windows media player 9, I only heard audio. I installed directx 9, divx 5, Internet Explorer 6 is installed, but it still shows no video. Does anyone know the solution to this?
