How can I quickly revise/reset the file dates on >400 files in a given folder without editing them individually in Win98se? Will Tweak UI do this, and if so, how?

    mjhoiland,

It seems to me You may have just asked the impossible Question, let alone the legalities.

So if I may ask, Why and for What purpose would one want to do this??

Revising dates on my files on my own hard drive is a simple matter if I do them one by one and there is NOTHING illegal about it. But resetting the dates on 800 files, is no simple chore.

Many programs load user files by date(chronological order), instead of "by name" (alphanumeric order). Slideshows are just one example. The benefits of resetting them to the same date s/b obvious.

    reset/synchronize the dates on files.

    http://www.ne.jp/asahi/cool/kish/pplusmain.htm

Found this download for properties plus and it works great. My psim custom parts libraries now load in alphanumeric order since the dates are synchronized to the same value. Big help, thanks to the emailer who suggested it.
