I did a clean install from Windows 2000 to Windows XP --- without any problems. BUT, I cannot get my screen to cover the entire window of my monitor --- it's horrible; as Win2000 covered the entire area. I have cked all my settings and cannot find where/how I would do this. I went up on line and "hoped" someone else would have addressed this, but couldn't find anything. PLEASE help me.:(

Have you tried using the horizontal and vertical sizing buttons on the monitor?

It might work to set Windows to use one of the standard monitor types in the Display Properties.

Thank you so much; the monitor needed to changed to "standard" and 256 colors in order to accomplish this.

My pleasure :) Thank you for posting back with the fix - it may help someone else later on.
