    Try This, Select:

    Start/Settings/Control Panel/

Find the Multimedia Icon and Double click it. Then at the bottom of the Properties Tab check "Show Volume Control ". Click on "Apply ".

Volume control is now in your Task Bar. Right click on this and select "Open Volume Controls ".

    Post Back results.
    Hope this Helps

Are you saying, on the "Audio" tab, you do not have a box that can be checked that says, "Show volume control on the taskbar "? This should be at the bottom and the last of the only two check boxes that are available.

How about a file called sndvol32.exe?

    goddez1,

Thanks Ann, I forgot to include that it was on "Audio" Tab in my post.

Also sndvol32.exe will be found in C:\Windows (if that's the Drive where the O/S resides.)
