I am having trouble changing the source file for my Personal Folders in Microsoft Outlook. I put my personal folders file into My Documents so that my network could share it ... (it wouldn't share in its current location which was the administrator's documents & settings folder (in a hidden file) but I cannot find a place where I can change the source file directly in Outlook. I do not have a "services" folder under TOOLS. The only place I can even see the path is in File, Folder, Properties for Personal Folder, Advanced and then the path appears but it is darkened and can't be changed. Does anyone have an answer for this?
I am using Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Office 2000 SR-1.

Just so you know ... I realized that I had installed Outlook as an Internet Mail only option. I changed the option to the CW option and now I have "services" under TOOLS. Thanks for previous help.

    Outlook

The easy way is to simply move the .pst file to the new location and be sure it is deleted or renamed in the old location. Then just start OL it will go "cannot locate *.pst blah blah.." and then a window open allowing you to browse and point OL to the new location opens and you are done.

Thanks a lot. I will try that. I hadn't deleted the first file and so have been unable to change the location.
