OE toolbar changed to German - how to reset?

    german outlook express

    My husband was working on my outlook express and got my whole tool bar coming up in German. How can I undo this and get back to an English toolbar?:rolleyes:

    That's real weird - I assume everything else is in English, including the rest of Windows?

    Which version of IE / OE are you using?

    What kind of work did he do? Did he reinstall? Was something wrong with OE before he worked on it?
    What version of Windows are you running? If not WinXP, info on the IE Repair Tool is here

    Also depending on the version of Windows you might try a scanreg /restore (From DOS) or System Restore (WinXP)

    OE fixed

    Thanks for those who helped! The problem has been solved by reinstalling OE 5.5 . What I found out from my husband was that he was removing 6.0 and could not find a version of 5.5 anymore except for a German website. That's how my toolbar turned to German! So I'm back to English.     dianet--Thanks for posting back. Glad to hear the good news.
    I gather you are happy with whatever version of IE you now have. But if you want IE 5.5 it is available here.
