ok lock up

    In several programs I click "OK" and computer locks up.
    I hit Alt +ctrl+del and whatever program im in it says "not responding "

    Ive checked for viruses, reloaded win 98, explorer, directX.

    Any Help :confused:

    One thing that does this to me is simply clicking too fast. It's possible to get ahead of Windows and cause a lockup. I've had to develop a rhythm to slow myself down - click, one, two, click, one, two.

    In a case like this, much more info is needed.
    A question number one is, how is your computer maintenance:
    -cleaning temp, history files
    -removing unnecessary program files
    -running scandisk, defrag
    -having AV program up to date
    -checking on spywares/adwares, using "Spybot ", and "Adaware "
