I still use Win98SE (stilll satisfied with it....no problems, no crashes, etc.). I have a dial-up connnection with msn.com
I have an MSN8 icon on desktop, which I rarely use. Instead, I have a dial-up connection on my desktop, which I use to get on Internet.

I try to keep my StartUp clean and lean. I use StartUp Cop and/or msconfig. I try to uncheck, with msconfig or delete with StartUp Cop the MSN Messenger. Everyday when I bootup, MSN Messenger is in my system tray, and takes away some resources.

How can I permanently remove MSN Messenger from StartUp?

    Thank U, Pete...
I hve M. Lin's Start Up Cop, and Start Up Monitor. Now thanks 2 U I have downloaded Start Up Control Panel.
Also went to the other site U recommended, and have gotten rid of Messenger. Hope this doesn't "foul me up" with my OE/Hotmail and IE.

    Have a nice rest-of-the-weekend
