    Hi tacotongue

A few months ago after installing XP Home and activating it
I realized I wanted it on a different partition.

So I reinstalled it, I had no problem with the activation.
When reactivated, it it seen that I still had the same hardware
    and worked just fine.

I have personally re-installed my XP home edition 11 times with no problem whatsoever. Not only that, but I have changed my RAM, HD, soundcard, AND video card during these times. Still no issues.
