how to reformat a computer (wipe cleaned and
start fresh)? I have a few ideas but would like
to get some tips from others on what to do and
what NOT to do in the process.

    Im operating Windows 98.

First off so that I do not make the same mistake that I did in another post.

What kind of a machine do you have ?

Home built, Dell, HP, Compaq etc.

In a previous reply I asked for the type of machine involved here and got them by Pvt Mail.

I asked the party to put them here. That was two days ago.

It makes life much easier to know what we are dealing with.

I believe it is supposed to be and IBM clone.
