Lately, when I try to utilize the "send To" command, the options come up very slowly. For example, I choose a file that I want to e-mail. I right click on the file, move the cursor down to "Send To," and frequently have to wait 7 - 10 seconds for the send to menu to come up. All else on the system seems to be working fine. I have 11 choices on the send to menu, 2 are folders on other computers on my home network. Once the choices do come up, they work fine but this delay is infuriating.
    Thanks,
    Russ

I just wonder if this is the source of the problem - does it make any difference if these 'puters are booted up or not?

Actually, after I posted my note I though the same thing! First, I just moved those 2 links (other computer) out of the send to folder and, viola, normal speed. Placed back into send to slowed it down again. Haven't checked if it's normal when they're booted up but my guess it that they will be. Thanks,
