Missing File Menu in Windows Explorer?

I am missing the file, view, edit menu as well as all other toolbars whenever I open Windows Explorer (file manager, not internet browser). I've tried going into folder options to change this but I see no option to add or remove menus or toolbars. I even tried logging on as a different user and this corrected the problem for a few days, then all of a sudden my menu and toolbars were gone again! Does anyone know how I can get my menu and toolbar to display again in Windows Explorer? Thanks so much for any help.

I don't know how to get your file, edit, etc buttons back. But if you right click at the top of the explorer window you should be able to check 'standard buttons' and 'toolbar' to get some functionality back.

I've been told that if I right click on the Windows logo I can select standard buttons and toolbar, but the Windows logo does not show up when I open my Windows Explorer. All I see is the blue title bar and the files. I still can't get my menu and toolbar to display. Thanks for the help Hex92. Any one have any other suggestions? Thanks.
