I "m running Microsoft Streets/Trips from the CDROM in Windows ME. Is there any way that I can copy this CDROM to the hard disk and use it from there so that I don't have to have the CDROM in the drive all the time?

    Thanks for any response.

    Roger at CCCC,
I have the 2003 version. When I went to install it, it asked if I wanted to put the whole thing on my hard drive or make it so you need to use the CD when you run the program. I put it all on the hard drive and program took 875 MB of space.

Thanks for your comments. I have the 2001 version and I don't think it asked me that question. In fact, it runs as a part of MS Works 2001, so I didn't even install it (it's been a long time ago that I started using it and have always wondered if I could transfer it.) but I'll look around in MS Works again to see if I can find anyplace to install it.
