I would like to just use one pic as my screen saver but all I can seem to get is a slide show of all my pics. Any ideas.

    krazmona,
are You confusing the screen saver and the background picture?

The idea to have a screen saver is to NOT have a fixed picture or whatever is on the screen when the computer is "idling ". You can choose to have Your pictures or a selected number of them as a slide show.

As background picture You can select anyone You like by right-clicking the desktop, choosing Properties / Desktop / Background / Browse.

    HTH,
    Christer

(My computer speaks swedish so I hope You find Your way by my "translations ")

thank you. I just went back and found out that I can select certain ones to be in my slide show for my screen saver. I have lots of stuff in my pics that I didn't want in my slide show. I never realized that I could pick what ones I wanted.

    Thanks so much
