deleted rundl?

    okay, I dont know anything about computers. so somehow I accidently deleted "rundl" and "rundl32" and now I cant do anything, open pictures etc. How do I get rundl and rundl32 back? is there somewhere where I can download it?
    any help would be greatly appreciated!

    RunDLL and RunDLL32 are vital parts of Windows. Remember that Windows is not one big program, but a load of small ones, and you've just removed the ones that let you do anything. My recommendation is a complete reinstall of Windows.

    Find a friend that has win 98 and do a find for these 2 files, note where they came from on his and put them back in same place on yours.

    If you can't do this then the hard way is to extract them from the windows CD (if you hvae it). Many steps.

    I dread it but as a last resort I will guide you thru it. So let me know.
