Help for most Outlook Express problems can be found at this site Outlook Express is bundled with IE and running IE repair will correct most problems.

Kept having the same problem. Went to IE 6 which of course included OE 6. Seems to have fixed the problem.

I finally took my pc to the shop to have it looked at...it turns out my McAfee anti virus protection was causing my problem...they recently changed their set up...we uninstalled it and downloaded Norton...everything is working great now

I keep getting this message and my e-mail won't download into Outlook Express 5--

-The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.webenet.net', Server: 'localhost',
    Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I can read my e-mail in my providers Web page and I can send e-mail out OK. Then sometimes if I turn the PC off and on again, the problem is no longer there. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
