Problems with Adobe Photo;out of Virtual memory

    I made sure Windows is managing Virtual memory. That didn't help. Now I am having problems running scandisk & defrag. I keep getting an error saying something is writing to the disk. I brought it up underSelective startup without anything checked and it still gives me the same error.

    It would be better if you replied in the original thread you posted about virtual memory. Adding some more information like your Windows version, amount of physical ram, amount of free hard drive space and details about what you have showing in My Computer Properties Performance tab and Virtual Memory screen could be helpful.

    On scandisk and defrag, it might make more sense to post in one of the Windows forums but if you can't run scandisk and defrag in regular mode you could try Safe Mode. More information here:
