illegal operation

    hi i keep getting illegal operation invalid page fault in module<unknown>at oooo:eek:oooooo3. when i click on start then try to open control panel when i click close on the error, it takes me to control panel .:confused: can anyone help ..

    Using find files, search for *.cpl and post the file names found.

    okay here we go the files are : Timetable,Appwiz,Desk,Inetcpl,Intl,Main,Mmsys,Modem,Timetable,Netcpl,Password,Powercfg,Sticpl,Sysdm,Acess,Telephon,Themes,
    Joy,s32Lucp1,Odbccp32,Quicktime,Qtw32,prefscpl,Joy,Aezbcpl, rgbstd,coreldrw,Bdeadmin.

    Just a note to say I worked out what the illegal op was by opening the the files that merlin asked for by attempting to open the files with control panel one of the files came up with the illegal op message . this file was Aezbcpl it is an IBM file that is associated with the rapid access buttons on the keyboard to solve the problem I had to download the latest keyboard driver from IBM . So everthing is fine & dandy for now.. :D
