    Hi,
I just ahd to exchange my mobo because two RAM slots were dead and not I got my PC all togheter again. Now, when I power on the system wont boot. ALl the fans work, but nothing comes up on the screen. I cleaned my Athlon CPU with Goo Be gone and Alcohol before applying the new themral paste and the heat sink is on properly and everything. Even if the CPU was not I should still be able to to get in to the BIOS with out the CPU right and at least get some kind of error code. Does this sound like another bad motherboard to you guys?

    Thanks

Sounds to me like a Video card isn't seated all the way in the slot.

NO the video card is a known good video card as it worked in my old system. As for the RAM, I have tried 4 differenct sticks and get the same result no beep no nothing. If the processor was bad would I be able to at least get in the bios or hear a beep from the mobo right? I am still getting nothing.

Nope. The minimum requirements to get a display are - motherboard, CPU, RAM and video card. A CPU fan is not required to get a display, but without a CPU fan you're going to waste a CPU real fast - like one or two seconds. And, of course, all of the minimum components must be in working condition and set correctly.
